Forest in Sumatra

Indonesia confirmed that the forest in Sumatra island is on fire.
head of Environmental Conservation of the Regional Environmental, said that Thursday that the wind had carried haze resulted from hot spots in Riau and North Sumatra provinces.

"From the monitor on the satellite picture, the fire starting from July 31 was sometimes up and sometimes down,"

However,the fire had not yet caused serious impact on the provinces, adding, "We do not know the situation at Malaysia because the wind blows into there, from southeast to east."
the fire is started because of the dry season.

The fire keep spreading , the authorities already have deployed teams to the scene of fire, and local companies also making solution to stop the fire.

North Sumatra provincial airport keeps the flight schedule normally, according to an official of the airport.

Forest fires causes by dry season because of the spread of illegal land-clearing fires or carelessly discarded cigarettes.
smoke from forest fires in Indonesia has on the island of Sumatra and spread to affect several cities on neighboring Malaysia.And this will effects the ozone layer and the civilians.
